I'm not usually one to be nit picky, but our experience with Extra Space Storage left a very bad taste in my mouth and I feel others should know these details before renting here. We rented (3) large 10x25 units for our small business, which was only about a mile away. Everything was fine for the first few months and then came the CRAZY rate increases? We just moved our property out of the unit but while we were doing so our unit was invested with rats. Even while our movers were picking up boxes, the rats were coming out. There was feces and urine on our sectional sofa that we ended up leaving behind, our Cal king mattress and other items. They advertise that it's a clean facility but in reality only the driveway is clean. All the dirt they blow goes inside the units. Very displeased. Disgusting place.

0 stars if possible. We got the rental space about 5 years ago. $80 a month. During the previous ownership, the cost went to $160. But when extra space took over about 5 months ago, they jacked the price to $240 and today, 5/2/23, we got notice that the monthly price starting next month will be $320. It must be their belief that lipstick on a pig makes a difference. Not worth and I'm sure that we will not be the only customers to leave this month. Worst extra space I've been to. Looks like the place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. The floors are disgusting and it smells like piss everywhere. First day moving in, the lift was not working. I called their office and the manager on-site immediately came to help get it fixed. He said the sensors are really bad and they never work properly.
