My husband had opened a new account here a couple months ago and today I came in to put my name on the account. When I first walked in I was immediately welcomed and I signed in to talk to someone. I waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen by someone. The inside of the bank was very well put together and clean. There are two small waiting areas. Ariel helped us out and was extremely professional and kind. Im so happy we bank here now!

The staff at this branch of Fairwinds Credit union is the very best. Prince is always friendly and knowledgeable and goes the extra step to be helpful. Shannon really helped us out when we needed a transaction done and we were called out of town unexpectedly. I recommend Fairwinds Credit Union and this branch never disappoints!

Went to open an account for both my son and I , per the lady who brought us back to open account , she said I had a fraud alert under my name and she would need original ss card or a utility bill in my name , I showed her 10 credit cards and car registration and car insurance bill and she said she still couldn't open an account for us. So I left and went to navy federal credit union , who I had no issues opening an account with using my car registration as second ID.
I have had no issues whatsoever with this credit union and have banked for several years now. I have both a checking and savings account and my car loan which I paid off in one year after having it refinanced for a much lower APR. First of all, don't spend money you don't have! All institutions charge fees if a withdrawal posts and there are not adequate funds in the account. If you have a savings account with adequate funds, they will use that money and there will be no overdraft fee. Otherwise, just hide your money under y... read more

So I got an auto loan with them and I've had the hardest time paying them! Why is it so hard to send a bill in the mail and I will send a check but even easier than that let's pay by phone or online nope... to pay by phone they want you to pay a convenience fee well it's not convenient for me bc I would've sent it out by check or payed online. Now to pay online if you don't have a checking with them they have a long drawn out process I'm still trying to pay them for this months bill. Sorry I work shift work and can't go to t... read more
