I went for an annual check up. The dentist didn’t even touch my teeth, blew some weak air then said all good. Then said I needed to floss and brush less hard and that was it. I was expecting something a bit more hands to check my teeth were ok. I went to the reception where I was told I had to pay £17.50. I asked why and was told it for an x ray. I didn’t have an X-ray. Paid as private patient as in pain when filling fell out. Didn’t need to pay that amount to have it confirmed just needed it filled and now it appears I need to pay as a private patient to get that filling. Also receptionist in pain, I’m not there to comfort her and don’t respond well to hand gestures.

As a very nervous patient i felt very uncomfortable with the hygienest on my last visit.It was very painful and i felt she was losing her patience with me as i did not want to carry on the procedure but i did even though it was painful.So has now put me of going back to visit her. I also think in the times that we live in it is to expensive to have this done so often.
