Money hungry people. So gross & disheartening. My fiancé took our 6 month old shepherd here because she was limping & her elbow was a little swollen, they wouldn’t even touch her. They said they were worried about being bit. A 6 month old puppy. She wasn’t growling or anything. Assumed she just had an infection in her elbow mind you wouldn’t even feel it. Gave us antibiotics & still charged us for the dang visit!! Ridiculous. Took her to another vet who actually felt her leg & did an x Ray, come to find out she has elbow dys... read more
Dr Ray is sorely missed...an 8 minute appointment with shots was $450...the “doctor” made me hold my own dog for his shots, I could hear the tech chatting in the back room but I guess she was too busy to help 🙄. The Dr obviously hadn’t read his chart as she argued with me about his age, saying he is 15 and he’s 10...he’s been going there since 8 weeks old. HORRIBLE, RUDE, UNSYMPATHETIC, GREEDY, UNEDUCATED. NOT A SINGLE GOOD THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE.
I am so disappointed in Perry Creek since Dr Ray retired . The only reason I have stayed there is because of Jeff who is the tech..who is compassionate and friendly... the only one who shows his heart is truly for the pet. They wanted to charge me 20$ to trim my kitty claws who is declawed in the front... and the dr missed 2 claws out of the 10 that needed trimmed. Now I trim them myself. Now her rabies shot is due .... and they won’t do it without charging for the shot and have to have an exam ... and unfortunately... read more
The person at the front desk could be a little more empathetic. Also when you say a client can be late because when you schedule their appointment for 4pm, when they tell you they arent off work until 4pm and they have to pick the dog up and get there and then get turned away because the vet went home an hour early, that you tell them how late is okay. Mine and my sick dogs time was wasted and we weren't even treated with very much respect.

RecommendedMy dog just all of a sudden got sick after seeming perfectly healthy the day before. They ran blood work and a urinalysis on him. Dr. Abbie Krause started him on an antibiotic immediately and the next day called me and asked me to bring him back in. It turned out he had IMHA and his blood count was very low. They had me take him to Sioux Falls and they did 2 blood transfusions and he was on numerous medicines. Sioux Falls let him come home on Thursday and sent the other half of the bag of blood with us.
