I went to Urgent Care on Friday and got diagnosed with an ear infection even after stating my throat was hurting. Sunday morning, I’m at the ER about to get transferred to get treated for an abscess on my tonsils.
The receptionist and nurse were very friendly and helpful. Nurse practitioner came in and never asked me one question. She came in and looked at me and said you have a UTI and I sent a prescription to Walgreens for macrobid.. That was it. She didn’t introduce herself or ask me if I had any concerns or questions. She acted like I was a bother. Very very unprofessional. This is the first negative I’ve ever had at the clinic. The doctor was nice , but I didn’t receive any medication for my illness and it has gotten worse. I would have really appreciated some type of prescription so I can feel better.
