I stepped on a screw on a board that made a puncture wound on my heal. I went to your office yesterday to get a tetanus shot. I told the nurse practitioner that I had lung radiation a month ago, she told me she needed to contact my oncologist today to see if was safe to administer the shot. I gave the name and phone number of my doctor. She advised that they would contact him and let me know today. Never heard from your office. Super easy to get an appointment and the staff was great!
Great staff! So helpful and compassionate.
Took forever, was only 2 people there in lobby waiting. I waited 45 minutes to get called back. All I was there for was to take a 5 minute drug screen. So, it took an hour or more in total. When I have gone to other places, I walk in there and go straight back take the drug screen and I’m on my way home within 10 minutes. It seemed like there were only a hand full of workers there. Made an appointment and was seen pretty quickly. Needed a strep test, they tried to give one, but didn’t touch the back of my throat. Test came back negative and was told there’s nothing they can do. But if I’m still symptomatic in a few days, they might give me antibiotics then. They were nice and convenient….I’m just worried that the test was not a good one.
The Staff was helping and understanding although it was not explained to me that I was not getting a prescription I needed until I called there the following day to ask why.
The provider entered the room, did not introduce herself and immediately began going over her treatment plan. She had not even conducted her physical exam on Amelia. Not to mention I had to repeat myself numerous times that she had the sinuses/cough for two weeks with consistent allergy meds AND OTC muccinex/robitussin. When I questioned her then she backtracked and looked in her ears… which were infected and is why I brought her in. However she never looked in her throat, nose nor examined lymph nodes. We had an appointment and waited an hour to be seen. Unsure if they forgot we were in the room or where the issue was. If they were busy that would be understandable, but 2 pts were leaving when we were taken to a room and there were 2 pts behind us. Not sure what the benefit was to make an appointment if the walk ins were taken before us and we still were there for an hour and a half. Provider was great and provided great care during examine.
They were nice but I won’t go back They gave me the same medicine that the kidney Dr has me on so I’d say it was a waste of time I have been out of it all day I cried most of the night last night I was so miserable Dorothy Higdon
