Moved to Myrtle Beach 7 months ago, found Flintlake Apartments online and was able to get a 1-bedroom, fully furnished (for an additional $110/month) plus a 1-car garage (for an additional $70/month) and a 6-month lease instead of a year lease which is what everyone down here is looking for. Flintlake Apartment Homes the place I live I could end the sentence right there and it would be complete but, it would not even begin to tell you why I chose to live here. It is so much more than just an apartment complex (hence the name) we are a community, friends, and family maybe not by blood but family just the same. Flintlake is an ideal location, the apartments are spacious and it offers great amenities for the residents.
I moved to Flintlake Apartment homes in April of 2015 we are extremely lucky to have secured a beautiful apartment over looking the golf coarse, since we have moved in the community has been friendly, helpful and a delight to be a part of. Dan who is one of our maintenance staff is on point and Rochelle , Derek and Brittney have been overwhelming in their positions always there to take of what needs to be done or simply a warm greeting and fabulous hospitality they have provided for me a my guest alike. My husband and I have recently moved in at Flintlake Apartments. So far we have been very pleased with our decision. The staff at Flintlake has been very courteous and helpful through our move in process. Derek, Rochelle, and Brittany have all been very responsive to all questions that we have had. Flintlake is close to everything---Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets, restaurants, the airport, and a short distance to the beach. I have lived at Flintlake for 2 years with my Husband . I love everything about it here ! We have the best complex in Myrtle Beach by far!!!!! Some beautiful swimming pools beautiful for walking or jogging.Awesome neighbors all around. Beautiful views from every apartment. We moved in when there were different owners which were very good. TRUST ME. I would not recommend living here. My car was stolen two nights ago right outside my apartment, which shows how unsafe this community really is. There are no visible security measures in place no cameras, no patrols, nothing to make residents feel protected. For what we pay in rent, safety should be a priority, but clearly it is not. I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Flintlake Apartments, primarily due to their irresponsible and negligent pet policies. While I understand the appeal of allowing pets, Flintlake Apartments' decision to permit two dogs per unit, each weighing up to 100 pounds, has created a significant safety and noise issue for residents. Run and run fast - don't believe the hype! Things are not always what they seem. I no longer live here thank God - the beginning of our residency at Flintlake was wonderful - great staff - very helpful and caring. And then the management company changed and it came with a whole new staff. Not very helpful at all (although they pretend they are) with no compassion whatsoever as they increased our rent quite substantially out of the blue with NO notice at all.
