Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They refuse to do any sort of maintenance. Theres an uncovered pump in the ground outside my unit thats become a ses pool. They told me id need to be patient but its been a month now. The garage has black mold all over the wall that they know about but yet again im told to be patient. Also, the air conditioner fills the condensate trap and shuts off every couple days at least and ive started having to empty it myself since i cant wait for them to decide to do their job. Flintlake Apartments in Myrtle Beach SC has become a ghetto complex. At 8am I have neighbor working on a car , banging and slamming. Another neighbor is having his daily coughing fit (smoke another cigarette). The showers are terrible, very little water comes out. I bought a new shower head but they won't let me put it on. Parking spaces are so small can't open my car doors, only one space allowed. The breakfast bar and cookies with their coffee has not been available for about a year. No amenities that I can use!!! Worse apartment ever! The bugs were horrible despite pest control every week and the grounds always had dog poop in the grass that no ever picked up. I walked past 3 piles of poop for months.
Haven't lived there in quite a few years but I still live in Myrtle Beach SC. Everytime I pass this place I cringe. Probably the worst place I have ever lived. So happy to have a house and never look back.
Management has entered our apartment without notice, and blamed us for a building wide any problem that has been ongoing since we moved in. Another resident slashed our tires and keyed our car. When we expressed concern regarding his escalating harassment, management 'hoped everyone would be adult about it.' I was afraid to take my kids to the pool, or out the front door, they couldn't have cared less. They did nothing. They are sluggish to respond to maintenance requests, when they do at all.
