I've been a patient of Dr Koike for several years. Recently he did surgery for cataracts and glaucoma. He's a great doctor; always has time to answer questions and explain procedures. I recommend him very highly.

His staff was knowledgeable. He was thorough and appreciated the time he took. Communicated well and answered all my questions. I felt completely comfortable and he had a trusting air about him. Confident and professional. I would definitely recommend him! I appreciated the fact that masking wasn’t mandatory since I can’t breathe with them and never wore them to begin with due to respiratory issues. .. among other health issues. He put all my concerns to rest for another year.
From my first visit, I knew that Dr. Shetty was an excellent doctor. He explained everything about my cataract surgery thoroughly and he was calm and encouraging. I had two successful cataract surgeries and would recommend Dr. Shetty to anyone and everyone!
Dr. Koike just finished my second eye cataract surgery. Everything flowed smoothly. You are always kept informed with every detail of what is happening and there are no long waits through the entire process. Dr. Koike called me the evening after each surgery. Staff is very responsive to calls, everything even the doctor visit notes are put online for you instantly. This is like Old world Mayberry Doctor care and concern mixed its state of the art technology. You won’t be disappointed.
Excellent experience with all office, technical and surgery center staff. Dr Shetty is knowledgeable, a great communicator, and surgeon. I would recommend him highly. The Jacksonville community is fortunate to have such an outstanding ophthalmologist.
