RecommendedI retract my earlier post. Upon closing on my property I have discovered the inspector lied on his report. The bathrooms have no power and two appliances are not functioning properly. I’m now on the hook to fix everything opposed to someone showing up to do their job and me hold the seller accountable!!!! Don’t use this company it’s not worth it and will cost more money in the long run.
Disappointed by poor quality of MAX Home Inspection inspection and then lack of followup by customer service when we complained. So much for their claim that they guarantee their work 200%. Beware of hiring MAX for Wind Mitigation and Sewer Scope inspections. We had to hire professionals to redo those inspection ($403.31 worth of the $841.17 inspections we paid MAX Home Inspections to do!) They inspected my mothers condo-our realtor represented us as we were in WPB. Checked off dishwasher during inspection only to find out there was no dishwasher in unit. After many phone calls not returned I left a negative review. They said they would refund their fee, only to change their mind because i left a bad review for them not returning my calls. Obviously customer service means nothing to them.
blatantly inaccurate inspection. self serving, trying to upsell services. other friends have had similar experiences. dont waste your money!
Honor your warranty!! They didn't disclose the mold that was found and then the warranty service stated my warranty expired 1/24/2020 but the mold was found on 1/2/2020. After getting an estimate from a mold remediation company, it was clear that the mold was there. However, the warranty company is hiding behind the fact that the inspection report stated it was "wet". There was NO explanation on what that meant. We relied on them and they didn't further explain. Very disappointing. I will not recommend them.

I can see you were informed about doing mold testing and that it was declined. The mold warranty covers a new mold that shows up after the fact. Absolutely the WORST home inspection company we have used. The inspector clearly missed a leak in the attic and once we closed on the house we contacted the company and they refused to take responsibility. They made us file “claims” and gave us the run around. Do NOT recommend. Save yourself the headache. Once they complete your inspection they will hound you for a review. Here’s your review! :)
