The service today was over the top excellent. Our mother who is 93 needed some new lighter shoes to help her walk. Michael helped us find the perfect pair! But wait, there's more! Mom couldn't walk into the store, so Michael brought the shoes out to the car, measured moms feet , gently helped her try on the shoes! Wait, there's more! It was a downpour and Michael was drenched and didn't complain. My sister and I are thrilled and humbled by such dedication and sincerely kind service.
They have a great selection of orthotics-friendly shoes. The store is well organized, and the staff seemed to know their stuff and be eager to help, including ordering shoes not currently in stock. Unfortunately, I was really put off by the salesperson trying to help me. When I explained that I just wanted to check the selection in preparation for my first pair of orthotics, I was asked who my doctor was and with what hospital system they are affiliated. Good customer service ONLY the first time around to make a sale. If you have ANY issues- forget it!! I was a loyal customer for YEARS. I do not have the money to spend, but I do so anyway to allow my feet to feel comfortable. They would not even exchange the pair of boots I bought even though one of their sales ladies fit me for them. Since you can't fully tell how they will feel, I wore them one day for work- cried at the end of the day because my feet hurt that badly- no sympathy from these guys. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ: I went in for shoes to help with Plantar Fasciitis. The sales lady was "nice". That ends the good part of my review.. I told her that I wore a size 9 shoe. She insisted that I've been wearing the wrong size shoe and went on to measure my foot and said I should be wearing a 9 1/2. I told her the shoe slipped on and off. She tightened the laces and said that a shoe should have some give in the back. She said they fit the way all of my shoes should fit. Again, she is the professional, so I listened... read more
