Verified Renter Its a wonderful community, and the amenities are excellent, but the communication and lack of responses from the management offices is beyond sub-par.
Smoker's Paradise This is a pretty community with apartments very nice and the landscaping done so pretty. The balcony's are nice and spacious but you can't really sit out on them because of all the smoking. The people under me smoke I believe every hour outside. The people next door to me smoke and I can smell smoke in the halls on the war to my apartment. I have my window open for some fresh air at night and I'm woken up to cigarette smoke at 3am. Waste of time, money and space! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! They are highly dishonest. The pet rent is per pet not just per month, they act as if they care but don't, they will be nice to you at first but once you sign the lease that goes away, they want money and only money. They tack on charges and have no excuse for them. Heat during the winter is one not controlled by you it is controlled by them and can get very expensive, well over $100 at times. My name is Jack Seary and I have been the Community Manager at Forest Cove since my company purchased the property, just over a year ago on 12/4/2014. The reviewer is correct about the pet fee being charged per month/per pet. We include this policy on all of our marketing as well as our pet addendum. forest cove changes i have lived in forest cove for 5 years the neighbors were great the owners were nice but they were not very attentive. we then got new owners my neighbors started disappearing ! then i was next after a 1 time complain of my dog they said i had 10 days to leave me and my 3 kids all under 13 have no where to go how do you find an apt in 10 days. well since the owner was renovating he started getting rid of the tenants to raise the rent for newer tenants he is a very rude disrespectful cold man. my apartmen... read more

Hello, Jack again! Just a quick note to say that I recall this situation very clearly. I was notified by several of this residents' neighbors that she was allowing her dog to defecate and urinate on her 3rd floor balcony. This created quite a mess for those living below her, as you can imagine! I immediately addressed the situation and contacted her.
