I have to say I was skeptical about storing here at first due to mixed reviews BUT Michael and his team in the main office have been so accommodating and very kind to me during this particularly difficult move. The building does need some updating to say the least, and while it is unfortunate they are unable to offer the convenience of 24-hour access at this time, I'd still say this place is the best bang for your buck. I was one of the first in the downstairs outer units I am not going to say that there were no problems there was but they got them fixed very quickly, I was please with that. The ladies and gentlemen working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. George Porter Jr 08/06/2018

Do you ever watch those horror movies where an innocent and naive woman approaches a creepy building that foretells doom? Yeah, I'm that person every time I drive up and walk into the building. Thankfully this place isn't a crime scene waiting to happen. They have a coded gate, so not everyone can just walk in. They have a constant flow of people coming in and out. Reviewing storage units are tough, so I asked lots of questions when I set up a unit here: Fountainebleu is a mixed use storage building, converted from its days as an apartment complex back in the day - it's existed in it's current incarnation for years now, and most of the top floors are dedicated to musician space...meaning that chances are when you stop by, you'll hear band practice happening somewhere -- in fact, many somewheres -- all at once. This storage gets 4 stars because you get the most space for your money anywhere in NOLA. It's also a very interesting place. It used to be a hotel. Now most floors are converted into storage units and the top two or three floors are being leased as affordable "apartments" to inspiring musicians. You'll hear them banging on their drums at night. Rented a unit in December for 38.00 paid that amount monthly. Went June 9,26 to pay and the amount doubled. The special during that time didn't say 6 months later fee would double to 69.00. Wanted to check with the manager ,but he was at lunch. Was asked if I wanted him to call and explain I said yes I'm guessing didn't feel the need to call because he didn't. This place is a Scam!!! Do Not Rent Here!!! I was informed by the office personal that the customers at Fountainbleau who were not allowed proper access to their storages was not expected to pay until the issue with the Fire department locked down your Hazardous building over 2 months ago due to Code Violations! I visited last week and was told I probably wouldn't have full access until the end of November and you have the nerves to send a bill? This is an Update on the Fountainbleau Storage review! After being told that the customers could access their storages after 2 weeks, the customer service person in the office informed me that it would take 2-3 more weeks before the issues found by the Fire Marshal would be fixed and resolved! Talk about Breech of Contract! First no air conditioning in the Climate controlled areas for over 4 months. Now our entrance codes are denied and we can't access our storages!
