I just had my 3 year post op check up with Dr. Boettner and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my total right knee replacement! I highly recommend Dr Boettner. He replaced my right hip 4 years ago and left hip 4 weeks ago. Excellent results, zero complications and quick recovery. Dr Boettner has relaxed, caring manner. You never feel rushed during office visits.

Feeling very grateful for the arsenal of surgical skills and joint replacement expertise of Dr. Friedrich Boettner and his friendly/attentive office staff and the surgical team at HSS. I’m 44 years old and had outpatient anterior hip arthroplasty x 4 weeks ago, with only a little 2 ½ inch beautiful suture line to show for it. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Boettner, his staff, and the staff at HSS. I had a total knee replacement 4 weeks ago. I'm walking, going up and down stairs and seeing daily progress. The PT is tough, but worth it. Dr. Boettner visited me several times while I was at HSS and took the time to explain everything to me. Great surgeon, great staff, great hospital

Dr Boettner and his team performed an anterior hip replacement procedure. It was masterfully executed to my complete satisfaction. I am 1 month post op and able to move well with out pain on schedule to resume golf, tennis and ice hockey(3 months). I highly recommend Dr Boettner and HSS.

In July 2020, Dr. Boettner did total knee replacement of my right knee. Three of my friends had knee replacements done by Dr Boettner and I had a good idea of what to expect post op. What I found was that my post op was amazingly easier than I could have hoped for. After the first week I could easily get around without the use of crutches or a cane. Dr. Boettner has a conservative approach to post-op treatment. Had total knee replacement 5 weeks ago and was off walker/cane in 1 week. His concern is getting flexibly not strength which will return naturally. Explains all details of surgery and rehab. Highly recommend Dr. Boettner.

In July 2019, Dr. Boettner did a partial replacement of my knees. In July 2020, he did a total replacement of my right hip. Both outcomes were beyond what I could have hoped for. He is an extraordinarily skilled surgeon with a totally reassuring manner. I have total confidence in him and would be pleased to recommend him to family and friends.

I recently had my knee replaced by Dr. Boettner at the Hospital for Special Surgery. It is perfect! Dr. Boettner is highly skilled and at the top of his field. I came to NYC from Florida because he replaced my first knee and everything went amazingly well. The whole procedure ensures a great outcome. The testing, anesthesia, nurses and office staff are top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Boettner!
