In July 2020, Dr. Boettner did total knee replacement of my right knee. Three of my friends had knee replacements done by Dr Boettner and I had a good idea of what to expect post op. Dr. Boettner has a conservative approach to post-op treatment. Had total knee replacement 5 weeks ago and was off walker/cane in 1 week. His concern is getting flexibly not strength which will return naturally. Explains all details of surgery and rehab. Highly recommend Dr. Boettner.
In July 2019, Dr. Boettner did a partial replacement of my knees. In July 2020, he did a total replacement of my right hip. Both outcomes were beyond what I could have hoped for. He is an extraordinarily skilled surgeon with a totally reassuring manner. I have total confidence in him and would be pleased to recommend him to family and friends.
I recently had my knee replaced by Dr. Boettner at the Hospital for Special Surgery. It is perfect! Dr. Boettner is highly skilled and at the top of his field. I came to NYC from Florida because he replaced my first knee and everything went amazingly well. The whole procedure ensures a great outcome. After two years of conservative approach, we decided to do a bilateral knee replacement, needless to say he is a very skilled surgeon with great bed manners. Very strict on his instructions post op, and he makes sure we follow them. Three weeks after the surgery I was able to walk without any assistance (walker, cane, etc.) Thank you Dr Boettner

Absolutely amazing experience. The best run medical office I have ever been to. I had a total hip replacement 31 days ago and I am walking with no pain or assistance unlimited distances. Today started stretching and light workouts.
