This vet clinic was recommended to me since my dog switched from his vet in Port Royal. They are always extremely busy here but the staff is good about letting you know about wait times. My dog gets anxious around a lot of new things so we just wait outside instead. He isn't quite used to them so they have to sedate him for visits which I don't like. Will never go to garners ferry animal clinic again. 2nd time to use them today. Receptionist rude with major attitude. Paid 158.00 to have 2 dog's nail cut under sedation. One dog 72 lbs and second dog 54lbs. Oldest dog who had been groomed week ago came out smelling like poop. Had to give him a bath a soon as we got home. Both dogs nails rough and not trimmed equivalent length. Pieces of nail left hanging on younger dog. Kept dogs 2 hrs. Last visit in Oct 2013, kept them all day and price $40.00 less. When Dr Cheatham... read more

I took my dog in for a flea problem and the "vet" recommended that I get a fog bomb, and said that I'd need to take the animals and leave for about 6-8 hours. He suggested that I maybe take the dog to a park and leave the cat in a carrier IN MY CAR! OH, but park in a shady spot! Yeah, that's right the VET advised me to LEAVE MY CAT... read more
