Wow, what a fantastic experience with Orthodontist, Dr. Sherry Wan! Also quality, professional service from Manager, Hope and other Gentle Dental staff. We moved to Idaho in the middle of my daughter’s orthodontia treatment and we were unable to transfer treatment to Idaho (which was very upsetting at first, but understandable). Dr. Wan was able to work with us in giving my daughter 3 months of trays at a time, which was huge (considered traveling hassles, expense, etc.)!! On two recent occasions, I have showed up for my appointment and was told that either I did not have an appointment on that date and time (when I had a text, confirming the appointment from them the morning of) or that I wasn’t yet due for my cleaning and that I would have to pay out of pocket even though they called me stating that I was due and asked me to schedule the appointment with them. I love the hygienist and dentist here. They make you feel comfortable, gentle, and always smile. It’s always a 5 star but new receptionists and no greetings when you come in or smiles. The one checking people in today should have had a mask on. I asked her if she had a cold and she said thought it was allergies. One ear plugged. But you could tell she was not feeling well.
Unfortunate to have to leave such a negative review, because both dentists I've seen at this office are actually great. The front desk staff, however, is rude, unprofessional, and will not fix their mistakes. After reading all of the most recent reviews, I now see I should've known better than to go to this office. There is a communication issue between this office and my insurance.
