i.m writing this review not for the entire Gental Dental, On the whole, they are ok. It's hard to get in to see them because they are located inside Clackamas Town Center, and I am not a mall person. sometimes it take 15 minutes just to find a parking space. Very inconvenient. I'm writing this review on the best dental assistant I have ever had. Her name is Miesha and she works along side Dr. Skorborg. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday. Emily was wonderful. She did a thorough job, while being gentle. Dr. Skovborg is excellent! She has worked on my teeth in the past. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and has a gentle touch. Getting work done on my teeth is definitely on my least favorite list, but Dr. Skovborg and Emily have done a great job getting me past my fears!

I highly recommend Dr. Skovborg at Clackamas Gentle Dental. She is wonderful and knowledgable. The entire staff is pleasant, patient and very helpful. Excellent customer service and care. I can't recommend them enough.

Always receive excellent customer service. I can really tell they work hard to get me in and out in a timely manner. Yet they always take the time to make me feel welcome- they remember your name and special tid bits about your life! Thanks Dr. Skovborg and team! And Emily is the best hygienist I've had in a long time!

I moved to Portland from CA recently and had to get a new dentist. I am pretty skeptical of dentists by nature because of previous poor experiences and consider a good dentist hard to find but when you find one, you keep them. Based on a referral I visited Gentle Dental and had a great experience. Dr. Skovborg was great and everyone was incredibly friendly, professional and thorough. I needed a new dentist and wanted a cleaning, so I chose this one. My first appointment included a complete set of x-rays and a thorough exam. But most of the time was spent walking me through the $13,000 worth of dental care they claimed I needed, with the x-rays used as 'evidence". They recommended a 3-session "Deep Cleaning" that costs over $3,000, and five crowns. I have no insurance, so when I asked which crown was most urgent, the response was that all were equally urgent. I went in for a routine filling. 3 months later I have constant pain in my tooth. They made no effort to fix it or help me and only wanted to refer me out to their in network endodontist. I am now going to be in the hole an additional $2000 because they were unable to correctly do my filling and caused damage.

I went to this establishment because they were a network provider under my insurance. I found out after a consultation that they only do cleaning and fillings. They referred me to an orthodontist in the same network. After missing work I found out my general doctor should do extractions. The Orthodontist required an extensive procedure I could not afford. Both facilities gave me the run around and left me in pain , on codeine and no resolutions. It's no wonder people get addicted to the painkillers if the doctors make excuse... read more
