Gentle Dental is fast a efficient. Dr. Mallela has such good bedside manner. He goes over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and made evening phone call to follow through on treatment and check my status on how I was feeling. Ellen is a super hygienist, she thoroughly made sure I understood my treatment plan and gave me different options to choose from considering my financial circumstances. Thank you Gentle Dental
Awful service. I used to go here with my family about 10 years ago. Service was great and the people were amazing. After they all quit, a new team was hired and have been awful. I scheduled an appointment for 11 (got 2 texts confirming my 9:00 appointment and even called to reschedule for 11) and got a text the night before saying my appointment would be at 9am. Awful hygienists. Never once consider if you're hurting or not. Not pleasant. Seem to judge every aspect of your visit.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The office staff is pleasant, the hygienist talked down to me at first, but then got smart and became human. But the dentist is HORRIBLE !!! He was doing perio probing on me and I told him he was pressing too hard and I told him not to perforate my attachment. I could tell that made him mad. Then he rapidly blurted out all the tratment he wanted to do, no explanation, nothing printed out, no treatment plan, and told me he thought botox injections in my jaws would be good idea.(No w... read more
Dr. Mallela was hitting and banging on my teeth so hard with his metal instruments, I thought he was purposely trying to to break my teeth, this happened twice at both of my appointments. He cracked one tooth in half and it had to be removed. When I called him out on it, he gave no explanation but I found out after no notice to me he had removed me from his client list. Good riddance.
Receptionist does not greet you when you enter, is overly defensiveand agressive. Dental hygienist does not clean your teeth thoroughly. Spends abour 20 minutes on you, most of it talking to you. Does not routinely check perio pockets, but says your doing well. My I stated my teeth and gums did not feel clean and requested she over each one with the cavitron. She refused. Her stomach growled so loudly, she had to leave and get something to eat while barely focussing on my cleaning.

Though they are clean, they are unorganized and unprofessional. My insurance covers my dental, and the insisted I pay for an extra service that is not required. I was unable to have work done there due to this. I have changed dentists due to this shady practice.
Arrived early. Waited for them to finish eating. I am 77yrs old. Bad eyes. Filling out paper work was hard to read, cause, of the small print. I live alone .No one to help. Dr. Mallela. finally came in. Had exray taken. Told me it cost TOO much money to fix your teeth. Get dentures or implants. I am in shock. Soc.Sec.is my only income. Ok Dentures. Another exray 3D . My grandmother used to go to dr gallo with affinity dental about 4 years ago. I called in 11/21 to get her scheduled and because I called after hours I got the call center. They scheduled me for the next day as it was an emergency. I called the dentist office the next day before the appt and I was told they don't see new Patients on this day.
