I was seriously considering switching dentists after my recent experiences, but my appointment today with Barbara completely changed my mind. During my pregnancy and postpartum, I struggled with excessive gum bleeding and cavities despite doing my best to maintain good dental health. In the past i dislike going to the dentist. However Barbara made me Excited about coming back the next day. She was very attentive and explained What was going on And what I can expect. Thanks, Barbara you made my dentist experience great!
I called in and got an appointment for the next day which would be my first visit. During that appointment the office staff, dental assistant or hygienist, and doctor were all outstanding. They made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving. The dental assistant or hygienist was especially kind, friendly, and professional. I have decided to make them my permanent team for my dental care.
I had been ill for the last few months with pneumonia and sinus infections. Multiple doctors and hospitals said they just thought it was bad luck. However, with the help of the Gentle Dental Lakewood staff, they noticed I had an abscess under a tooth. I am utterly grateful they caught this, as it could have turned into something much more serious! They are very kind, attentive, and thorough.
This place gave me 84 year old grandmother a pair of crappy dentures that wouldn't even fit properly in her mouth she went back multiple times to get them fixed and they didn't even care. They also didn't explain to her that she would have to pay out pocket and she ended up with a outrageous bill and still no teeth this place should be ashamed of there self taking advantage of senior citizens on fixed income. Trash and completely unethical.
