I have seen Dr Dynes over 7 plus years. He is a tremendous, compassinate doctor. I drive from new orleans because he is the best around.
After running one test, he says he doesn't know what is wrong but is throwing a random medication at the wall and hoping it sticks. When asked what else we could test for to try to find something we for sure know would work, his ego was too big and he suggested finding a different doctor. It took five months to get an appointment, only for him to waste our time and money.
Does not listen to his patients even when the patient is a nurse and the daughter is a speech therapist.
Wife went to see him because if symptoms indicating a possible neurological problem after being referred by her primary. He did a 2 minute exam look left look right etc. you came to the wrong doctor. After consulting with another neurologist at NMC who ran a battery of labs and nerve study it is suspected she has poly neuropathy and possible small fiber neuropathy both a very painful condition.
