I cannot stress enough that this is place is terrible! I just rescued my daughter whose 17 with suicidal tendencies from there Monday. she'd only spent 4 total days there. in that time she was humiliated, yelled at, physically man handled by grown men, threatened, starved, isolated from family and phone calls. ignored, overdosed! they overdosed her into a seizure and then staff laughed,mocked and called her a faker, meanwhile she's posturing, blacking out,can't move or speak, can't hardly breathe but they're screaming at her... read more

I highly recommend to stay far away as possible from this place especially if you have a minor child who you love unconditionally!!! All I’m saying is the care my son (14) received just being there 1 day was absord and very unprofessional! He called me freaking out because other patients was hitting him and spitting on him and the staff told him to walk away. tw SH • At the Glenwood Behavioral Health center I got caught SH ing myself w the sharp end of a pill wrapper. One of the staff said “at this point I’m worried you might hurt me” they accused me of screaming for meds, & then completely denied the accusation happened. A woman on my ward was in extreme abdominal pain w a fever & she had to call 911 herself to get to the hospital bc no one would take her. Stole my dad’s keys, ring, and wallet with hundreds of dollars in it, his bank cards, and his ID and SSN! Sent him home with $11 and his EBT card (which was IN his wallet). Told us multiple wallets have been stolen but google reviews show many people get robbed while they are there even down to their shoes. There’s dozens of reviews about being robbed while there going back YEARS! Absolutely DO NOT go here unless less you want to be abused, robbed, and left stranded. Please listen to the reviews!! People are very mistreated here!!! The most mistreated are the one who will not be believed. An older lady with dementia getting pushed to her room and getting yelled at for not telling nurses before she wet herself. They would shower he and lock her out of her room. She was wondering around the small area getting yelled at for everything they thought she shouldn't do. She was kept from eating in the cafeteria because she wanted to take a small pack of 2 crackers upstairs. She was yelled at ... read more
