We recently booked the GCR for our daughter's wedding. The staff was amazing and SO accommodating. They jumped in and helped wherever they could as the night progressed. GCR's event center is truly a diamond in the rough! You will not regret booking here. Our guests who stayed on the grounds loved their accommodations and being so close when the reception was over. We loved the location, our campsite on the river and being greeted by Sweet Little Maggie and her human, Kevin! Don't miss this one! It was amazing!
It is absolutely beautiful out here. I was concerned about the noise level being so close to I-70, but the sound of the running water cancels out the vehicle’s. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will DEFINITELY be coming back!

This place is gorgeous. The river and trains rush by, and you can barely hear the highway on the other side of the hill.

This place is a dream, you know those breath taking pictures you see sometimes? Well it’s here, it’s paradise. There is a s no other way to describe it.
For me just the view is worth everything. On to the rest, the staff is very friendly. They even brought my package to me. We are monthly people for this go round as we live full time in the rv. I have no complaints so far, well other than our cell service. If you are here for the weekend or a couple days that is not a big deal. Really for us it isn't unless we want to watch a movie or two.
