I love Glo tanning but I'm kinda disappointed to hear that the same staff from Roanoke will be working the new champions one. The Roanoke location was my last choice but it was the closest to my house. Like other reviews you have to say no thank you several times before the sale pitch on lotion ends. I also get told they prefer me tan for sometimes 5 or just 6 minutes in a 12 minute bed. Very frustrated! I went to the Roanoke location on Monday the 9th and signed up. I was highly pressured to purchase their very expensive lotions and had to say no Thank you about 5 times. I mentioned that I drive far to come here and then I was informed that a new location was opening closer to my home in Northlake the following Saturday... however they did not mention this location was closing or that I would be cheated out of the rest of that week as they moved on Wednesday and was closed Wed-Friday. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP!! I've been going to glo tanning for over a year with a membership and decided to FINALLY cancel after so many problems. I was charged multiple times at the Tyler tx location...I've never been to Tyler tx in my life, I've called glo tanning everytime this has happened just to be told that they will refund and make note on my account to check idenity and then get another charge just a couple weeks later from Tyler again. Don't join! Long waits and broken equipment. In addition, trying to cancel your membership is a struggle and to do so you must jump through hoops. Sent an email and asked for my membership to be canceled. They disregarded email and want to charge me for September. They demand that you call Guest Services. Person I spoke to in Guest Services was rude and refused to let me talk to a Supervisor. Unethical business practices.

Never again. Smells like they mopped the floors with dirty dish water. The owner was nice enough I guess, but she wreaked of cigarette smoke. Their tanning beds are dated, near antiquated. Don't know who the skin care girl is; tried scheduling with her a few times for some skin care services, but she was very flakey. I won't be back. There are way better places to go.
