Not a good experience The overall installation process and permit went smooth. I found out some of the panel were not working properly. So i asked them to check it out. They checked and said 2 panels are not working to their full capacity and they would place an replacement order and fix it with in a few weeks. Its been almost more than 2 months and no follow up calls from them. I called them 3 times every time i get the same response, we are waiting for the company to process. Slower panel review So far, 3½ months in, only in the permit phase, they are in the slower panel business. I would have expected this many months in from signing a contract, that at least we would be in the construction phase. Nope.
Not worth it - > 1 year of misery and still no functional system Last March we contacted Gold Rush, and the slick sales pitch ("We can have it installed for you in a month" etc) convinced us to sign. Bad bad idea. The system was not installed in a month, or two months, or 12....after too many excuses to list, we finally had (partial) installation more than a month after we agreed to the contract. Unscrupulous I chose them based on an initial sales pitch. However they lock you into an initial contract with no design with only a 3-day exit period. The site survey takes place a few days after and the design team begins work. In my case it took 1-1/2 weeks to get something which was nothing more than a single cost roll up with no design behind it.
