Horrible experience, did not show up when they said, apparently this was on purpose to extract more money from us. Be warned if you do use them to get a cashier check because they will ask for your final payment after the bank is closed and you have no other choice but to use credit card and they charge you an astronomical fee to use. Also make sure you get everything in writing and on company letterhead with signature and that all charges etc.. are agreed upon up front before you give them one dime. A horrific moving experience and this company lied to me for over a year about receiving a refund for it. Now offers me $300 of hush money to take down my reviews to warn others. Do not believe anything they say. Message me if you want more details.
Rescheduled even though firm date was requested... contract was in effect for a month when there was plenty of time to secure movers...had a mini grand piano from start but then told one day before move they had no one to do piano move. I didn't have any problems with the movers it was with the person that I booked the moving through and the person that warehouse my items. They gave me one price, and charge me more than what they said they were going to after picking up my boxes. And then it took them over a month to deliver my items.
It was a big mistake hiring this mover. They picked up our furniture on a Monday in North Carolina, and we are going to pick up another load 5 hours away on Tuesday. However, we made it clear to them that they could not unload at our new residence on the weekend. We were charged a transit storage fee of $350. They were supposed to make a second stop to drop another item off along the way. It's been three months since our move. In that time, we have not received any assistance, information, or compensation for items lost or damaged. Great Nation turns complaints over to a third party who has also not responded. After one month, we notified the third party we wanted to repair or restore damaged furniture. ALL our finer furniture was damaged including items made by Henkle-Harris, Statton, Ethan Allen, and other American brand names. They were not only unprofessional, but scammed us by raising costs dramatically, including the common scam of loading the truck 3/4 of the way and then demanding more money.
