There should be an option for zero stars. This company worked with me all the way until they got my deposit, then completely stopped answering calls and emails. Theyve had my measurements and money for 4 months and REFUSE to do the work or produce anything for my project! They conveniently lose emails and leave me voice mails saying how much of a priority my project is but WILL NOT DO ANYTHING! This is absolutely fraud! $10,000 gone! And thats just their deposit! Red flag: They wanted me to commit to buying a building from them BEFORE talking with a contractor who would be doing the labor. That is a huge problem. No guarantee that there would be a contractor in my area, no way to check on their credentials or reviews, and no way to get a price quote or construction availability from the contractor. Our Engineered building was delayed by 5 months and the it was delivered and it was Engineered incorrectly. We were able to cut and rework the steel ourselves but were not offered any refund. This put our build back 4 weeks into the winter and snow. We would not buy anything from this company ever again. We were also a cash buyer.
Where to start. The building was finally delivered a year late. I ordered it and sent my down payment in April of 2022 with an ECD of September 2022. Then they said delivery would be Q1 2023, then June 2023, then November 2023. Then the owner made a video saying that they could move small buildings, like mine, up in the schedule. Terrible. As of July, '23, they have delayed my project for the last time. My complaints are no different than all the other people on here they have made empty promises to. They are now 1 year overdue from when they originally told me I would have a building. They have had my deposit since January, '22. One and a half years and no building. I am so disappointed in Great Western Buildings and their entire manufacturing process. We ordered our home from them 2 years ago. The sales rep ****** in the beginning was helpful and genuine. From there it has been a disaster. From drawing mistakes on their part which we paid for in more and more drawings and calculations. We purchased a garage kit in 2021. They have continued to push the delivery back with a barrage of things going wrong with the company machinery or supply line. This company would be out of business by now if they were not fulfilling orders. Our next move will have to be some legal action. If you value your time and money do not pursue this companies services.
