The place is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles. The detox protocol was not the best experience for me. Others received medication before me when we had the same time for the last use. So my detox was miserable for the first 4 days, I wanted to jump off the pool balcony. Now that I am on the other side I am getting a lot of praise from the staff for making it through, they were all worried for me. Honestly if it was easy what would stop me from going out again.

The group therapy sessions here provided me with so much education on not only addiction, but mental health and how they co-occur with one another. I learned the underlying causes of my substance abuse, had a personal treatment and aftercare plan created for me, and am confident about completing the program and committing to sobriety more than I ever have before in my life. This facility was great for me! I received great care from my therapists, TA's and staff. The information and support I received in all of my classes were of the utmost help to me. I have learned some great coping skills for dealing with my trauma and addiction. Greenhouse has saved me from myself and on behalf of myself and my family.... Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Overall, Greenhouse is a rewarding treatment program. It being my first experience, I had no idea what to expect. However, I did learn from previous clients of other facilities, that this one stood alone as far structure, cleanliness, and food. Not every amenity mentioned at Greenhouse on various websites and listings are open at certain times of the year. Most the staff seem to genuinely care. I have learned alot more about alcoholism and why I am who i've become. I've met some really good people here. It's been a helpful and very good experience overall.
