Be very careful when you buy a pre-arranged funeral, cremation, etc. Keep all receipts in a safe place where heirs can find them because Greenwood conveniently cannot find the proof of payment if you paid previously. We had to bring them the receipt, although when they did find it it was the exact name that we had given them--no room for error. Just be cautious, they will charge you twice if they can.
My Uncle has gone through hell going over the prices for his wife’s prepaid funeral that he ended up owing more. Every excuse on the book. Do not recommend.
I would not recommend this funeral home for African American people, unless you bring in someone else to do your loved ones hair and makeup. Beautiful establishment with very caring and courteous staff. However in my opinion from what I seen with my own eyes, African Americans aren't who they are good at preparing.
Watch their prices, in my opinion they don’t always play fair.
It is a funeral home. Traditional funeral home where you view the remains of a loved one. Nothing special.
