It was fabulous. They did a great job. They worked many hours over what they thought it was going to take. They didn’t complain and there were 3 movers. The company was really easy to work with. They had boxes and let me donate the left overs to other people moving. They were reasonably priced and seemed liked nice people. They offer storage options and other things if I needed them.
Initially, I met with the person who estimates the job. He came to the house and we did a walk through. He noticed things that my other two bids didn't, like glass shelves in the china cabinet that would require special attention. We also needed to move an upright piano and a motorcycle. He decided that it would take 2 vans and 6 men to do the job. <br /> The crew showed up on time and got to work. Very well. They were very professional, careful and timely.
From the start these gentlemen were the most professional, helpful, kind and efficient movers I have ever encountered. They truly cared about us, our possessions and being as helpful as possible. They even brought in a special "consultant" to move our baby grand piano. <br /> Not an item lost, broken or out of place. <br /> If you have to move this is the company to call - they think of everything. <br /> Thank you for making an emotionally tough move so pleasant. Greenwood Moving and Storage had their Estimator come to my home and a friend actually met him there with a list ofwhat I was going to move. He called me back promptly with a reasonable estimate. The crew arrived promptly at the agreed time and started by laying down runners and taping corner protection into place. Complete professional moving in extreme heat.
These are great people! We made a mistake, and changed our minds on the second pod so we had a smaller one delivered. We underestimated the amount of stuff we had!! These guys/gals know there stuff so whatever they suggest next time we will listen to their advice!!They were so patient with us, and VERY understanding. We should have got the two 16 foot pods like they suggested!! The nice driver picked up the full pods to store them for us, and they will deliver them soon!! The pods themselves were great!!
