just got told it was $150 to put my daughter's pet rat to sleep. Seriously?!? That's horrible. we can't afford that. now she gets to watch it suffer as I'm not going to whack it over the head. it's her pet!
Attempted MANY times to get my sons hamster in to be seen because he was very ill and needed treatment. He was a patient of their clinic and has been seen there before and I was told he could not be seen for a couple of weeks and that I should call daily to see if there were any cancellations to get him in, which I did. Unfortunately my sons hamster suffered slowly and died this morning. This vet is neglectful when it comes to getting sick pets in that need vet care when it is their own patient! Years ago when Dr. Mike Tyler sold his practice to a corporation, we knew it wasn't a good sign. The most recent example of corporate think vs. a private practice is the closure of the grooming section "because it doesn't make enough money".
