Great atmosphere and phenomenal food! We all had to try each others and each dish was fantastic! I had the chicken and noodles and turkey felt like homemade comfort food!
Enjoyed a good lunch inside the restaurant. The salmon salad (full) was huge and delicious. The waitress was attentive but not chatty and kept our glasses full throughout the meal. Prices are reasonable and so many food options at varying price levels. Will be going back. Looking forward to when it's warm enough to eat outside on their patio again.
Food and service were outstanding!
I had the seared scallops which were very tender and seasoned well. My friend had the pork tenderloin which they also said was very good. Our server, Jasmine, was knowledgable about the food and very pleasant. She made several recommendations which were spot on and even gave us her unique description of how the french fries tasted! We always have great service and enjoy the food and ambience at Grindstone on the Monon!
Service was excellent on a busy Friday evening; was seated near the door to the kitchen and it appears the staff work well together to get the food out. The food was nice and hot. They do need some type of sun shades for the dining room windows for evenings when the sun is blinding.
Wonderful Fish & Chips Dinner, Cole Slaw was very good. Had enough fish to take home and ordered a side of the cole slaw!!! Excellent bar area seating and bourbon selection.
