We always have great service and enjoy the food and ambience at Grindstone on the Monon!
Service was excellent on a busy Friday evening; was seated near the door to the kitchen and it appears the staff work well together to get the food out. The food was nice and hot. They do need some type of sun shades for the dining room windows for evenings when the sun is blinding.
Wonderful Fish & Chips Dinner, Cole Slaw was very good. Had enough fish to take home and ordered a side of the cole slaw!!! Excellent bar area seating and bourbon selection.
This was our first visit. The menu was extensive and our waiter was wonderful. We really loved the entertainer, Matt Record. He played great songs and was very talented. I hope to see him again.
Everyone had a great time in our party of 5. The food & wine were delicious as was the service & our waitress was very attentive & friendly! We will be back soon.
The prime rib was fabulous! A huge, thick slab! Very tender! One was cooked medium and one was medium rare. Both were perfect! It was served “au jus”, with our sides of baked potato and house salad (huge!), with sour cream and horseradish sauce. (The only thing missing was a dinner roll, but that is no big deal. ) We were too full to have desert. Will definitely return!

Our server Ann made our whole over experience very pleasant. Her knowledge of your wine selection was the best we've ever witnessed. She was extremely helpful.
