We were very impressed with the food at Grindstone on the Monon. It was Devour Indy, but was not given the menu. We had to ask for the Devour menu and the server did not even know that it was still going on. That was kinda inconvenient. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice, food was great, and dessert was AMAZING!! We will be back, for sure.

Menu has lots of unique options, food was very good, and service after we were seated was prompt. There were only two negatives. One, we were not seated until 20 mins. after our reservation time. They need to manage reservations better. Two, our entrees were brought to the table before we finished our appetizers. They need to work on timing.
Friday night at 6pm and the parking lot was full and folks were waiting on a table. We were immediately seated with our reservation and the server was very attentive. The chef special steak was a nice cut and cooked perfectly. Very enjoyable time.
Food (grilled salmon salad) and service were great! I really loved the decor- cant eant to go back once the weather is nice and I can sit outside :)
My meal- steak salad and French onion soup- was great. Especially the zucchini nut bread that comes on the side! My dad wasn’t thrilled about the fish & chips, but overall a great meal.

Very Average- Pretty much a little nicer then Apple bees. The Hostess and waitresses all stood by the entrance and talked most of the evening. Food wasn't bad, just know you are getting mostly frozen stuff.
Hostess and Waiter were both very nice and attentive. Food was good and our bench table was perfect for 6 .4 adults and 2 children.
