Salty. Tenderloin and Salmon dishes were both over seasoned.
I loved the vibe I got from the atmosphere and set-up of this restaurant. I felt very welcomed and the food was amazing! Although our waiter wasn’t very good, because she came to us maybe 4 times (counting taking drink orders, food orders, and check), I would totally recommend this restaurant to other people!
Ribs were OK. Good, but too much seasoning for my taste. The cherry pie ala mode was fantastic. My wife like her steak.
We were seated very promptly and given choices as to where we wanted to sit. Greeted quickly by a server, and had constant service the entire time. Great food and great atmosphere. Visiting again very soon!
This was our second time dining at Grindstone. Our first experience was exceptional. Our second experience not so much. Our server was not very knowledgeable (i.e we asked if they had marinara and she offered cocktail sauce as an alternative). We also asked for a side of Bolognese sauce to go with our cheese curds and was told no. Great service and delicious food. We will be back!
We had an appointment at 5pm on a Sunday. Turns out that would not have been necessary. We were greeted and seated right away. Out waiter was friendly and efficient. I had the Pulled pork poutine, which I can highly recommend . It is a huge portion. Next I would order without French fries. My husband had a burger and was not so pleased. He said the meat was too fatty. Overall we had a pleasant dining experience and will definitely return, especially sins it’s a locally owned business.
Wanted so much more from here! Food sizes were all over the place. From good value to very bad! It’s new but service was very poor at best. One plate had each vegetable separated from the others to fill the plate. Cauliflower should not be covered in black.. photos say a lot.
