Our first table was right next to restrooms and we asked to be moved to bat area that had several open tables. The hostess wasn’t sure if she could but did check and we moved. The next table was right be server station and kitchen door. It took almost 10 minutes to be recognized by server. He was very nice but seemed overwhelmed and maybe new to service. We just went to Grindstone on the Monon for the second time. The service was AMAZING! The food was delicious! They have fried green tomatoes on their appetizer list! Yummy! I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant !
Absolutely delicious food. Can’t wait to go back and try other items! Nice wine and drink list. Great value on kids meals!

Wait staff seemed a little flustered and unorganized, perhaps because it’s still brand new ;). I had he fish and chips, not the best fish m chips option out there but not the worsts. Prices seem 1-2 dollars to high given the quality. I will still be coming back to try more, if nothing else the deserts from the pie shop in Zionsville rocked!

This was our first visit to Grindstone on the Monon and we very much enjoyed it! They were busy, but we had reservations and were seated within 10 minutes. Our server came to the table quickly, and a drink order was placed. The bar was busy, so it took a little longer than expected to get our drinks, but they were delivered and food order taken.
