WHO WE ARE Growing up in Indiana is a privilege. Our love is growing unique restaurants in the Midwest. It’s our roots. It’s in our DNA. It’s tradition. It’s family, and it’s hard work. We come by it naturally though. After all, it started through the generations with our father & grandfather, Carl Fogelsong. A man who initially executed his vision and was eventually named to the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Since 1965 our business remains committed to its roots: love of community, friends and family, and a universa... read more

Excellent service and great food. Highly recommend!
This is the 5th or 6th time we've gone & have always enjoyed our meal. Love their tenderloins.
We have been here more than a few times. The only real comment I have is that they seem to struggle with consistency. As usual, most of the food was really good, yet something I order often was not prepared properly (filet slider is fantastic one time, next time it is like charcoal. Pickle brined chicken is juicy and crispy once, the next time it is too crumbly crunchy and dried out). That seems to be a theme. Once they get that fixed, I would feel more comfortable recommending more often. I have to comment on this last visi... read more
Didn’t love the table we were given, it was right next to the host stand and where the guests wait prior to being seated. However the service and food were both great.
Our food and service was very good, it was just a little too loud for us.
Due to the timing of our meal and seating location half of our group had the sun in their eyes for much of our visit.
The seating is so so small and we are not large people. Uncomfortable both times we’ve been there. Food is relatively good but service is hit or miss.
The fried bologna sandwich was fantastic. The chicken sandwich was pretty good and was paired with coleslaw. The slaw had the right balance.
We liked the food at Grindstone and look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu. Service was a bit uneven... it wasn’t too busy and our server was nice, but little things got forgotten or addressed slowly so as to make the flow of the meal a bit awkward. Overall we had a good experience and will probably go back.
