Everything was great. Food was very good and our waiter was outstanding.
Gem of a restaurant!
As always this place is fantastic. I highly recommend the outdoor dining on cool evenings.
Decided to try a new place and so glad we did! Grindstone on the Monon was clean, quiet, friendly and the food was great! We shared fried Cauliflower for an appetizer, a Summer Blossom sangria and meatloaf (with a great "kick") as my entree. No room for dessert, but am sure it would've been wonderful too.
We had a great experience sitting outside at Grindstone on the Monon! There was a slight mix up with our reservation (another reservation with the exact same name was put at our table), but the staff apologized and got us seated as quick as possible. Met friends, coming in from Michigan for a baseball tournament, for dinner and loved our waiter Ben! Only issue was our friend’s 2 meals being undercooked. Ben was able to offer 1/2 off both meals, but only after he asked.
My husband & I enjoyed a lovely lunch with some longtime friends that we had not seen in several months. We requested patio seating in the shade. My husband & both of our friends all ordered the breaded tenderloin with cole slaw as a side. They were huge & were all very pleased with their choice. I ordered a half portion of the southern fried chicken salad & I too was pleased with my choice. Even the half portion was too much for me to finish. Everything was fresh & nicely prepared. Will definitely return.
We had an excellent outside table and enjoyed the singer. Food was excellent except for our ribs . We asked for sauce on the side and it came on the ribs. It was taken away and we were not sure if the sauce was removed or or we received a new order. The ribs were just so so but we we enjoyed our whole experience and will be back.
The food was great... it felt super safe as tables were distanced and everyone wore masks. The menu was full and abundant. I will also be using them for carry out very soon!
