You have to have the grindstone nachos with steak! So delicious!! The waitress Maddie was a fantastic server! She was friendly kind and checked in with us as needed!

The Grindstone (at the Monon) during our visit was bustling. Very popular! For our anniversary, my spouse and I tried out the restaurant based off the reviews alone. Great choice! We tried the Cheese curd appetizer (great!). I had the Salmon salad as my entrée (an excellent combination of sweet and savory paired with smooth and crunchy textures). Anna waited on us in the bar— we had a wonderful lunch with exemplary service (as always). Anna greeted us with our favorite beverage and ensured everything we ordered was delivered quickly. We enjoy coming to lunch here because each time the food is terrific and service is outstanding. My only ask— is it possible to add a couple more offerings for vegetarians?-/ would love to see a Beyond Burger added to the menu!

My wife and I love Grindstone on the Monon and dine there regularly. The food is great and the service is friendly and prompt. I only slightly graded down the ambience because the restaurant can get noisy as the night goes on.

Waiter was ok. One in our party ordered side salad. Came about 1 minute before food arrived. This is the third time this has happened. They have runners for the entrees but why not for the appetizers and salads. Biggest gripe I have but at the same restaurant. Maybe too many tables per server. All we got was sorry, your meal will be here shortly.
