WHO WE ARE Growing up in Indiana is a privilege. Our love is growing unique restaurants in the Midwest. It’s our roots. It’s in our DNA. It’s tradition. It’s family, and it’s hard work. We come by it naturally though. After all, it started through the generations with our father & grandfather, Carl Fogelsong. A man who initially executed his vision and was eventually named to the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Since 1965 our business remains committed to its roots: love of community, friends and family, and a universa... read more

Delicious lunch in the bar. Had a yummy glass of Pinot Noir and ate a plate of healthy vegetables— very fresh and tasty. As usual my husband had the fish— he says it’s the best. Excellent service from Anna— she never disappoints— she effortlessly takes care of her customers while tending bar. Delicious lunch!!
Great tenderloin! Service was good. Highly recommended for dinner.
My favorite place to dine these days. Fabulous food, very relaxing, great servers.
Enjoyed the restaurant, however the sirloin was overcooked. The crab dip was outstanding.
We had stumbled upon Grindstone while friends were in town. What a great find!! Highly recommend the crab crusted salmon, grindstone burger, jambalaya pasta & the blackberry Jalapeño margarita!!! The service was fantastic as well.
We were a party of five, and we had a variety of dishes. Everything was great. However, the steak was overcooked. The server at least acknowledged it!
...a Saturday night supper that was not only delicious but nicely presented and well-managed by the server! Our cocktails came out immediately, but we were not rushed in deciding what to order, despite the fact that there were many diners there on Saturday night. The dining room was understandably a bit noisy, but still quiet enough for good conversation. Would return any time-- and it helped to have a reservation.
Started with crab dip which was scrumptious. I had the tenderloin dinner and my friend had the chicken and noodles. Both were excellent.
Very enjoyable experience. Our server was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely recommend
