WHO WE ARE Growing up in Indiana is a privilege. Our love is growing unique restaurants in the Midwest. It’s our roots. It’s in our DNA. It’s tradition. It’s family, and it’s hard work. We come by it naturally though. After all, it started through the generations with our father & grandfather, Carl Fogelsong. A man who initially executed his vision and was eventually named to the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Since 1965 our business remains committed to its roots: love of community, friends and family, and a universa... read more

We took my mom to eat there for Mother’s Day. We were immediately greeted and taken to our table. It was extremely busy and took a while for the waitress to get to the table. The crab dip appetizer was delicious, but too small for the price. The Horseradish Salmon was delicious, the Yukon mashed potatoes were the best I’ve had and the asparagus was perfectly crisp. It took our waitress a while to come back and get our bill. I would definitely dine there again.
Service was mediocre. Waited awhile for drinks, service, etc. Food wasn’t the best, but not terrible. We were expecting more
Our reservation was on time when we got there. The food was wonderful. Our server was so great. And the management also was wonderful.
Service was great! Food was Excellent! Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Added to our list of favorite places to eat.
The food was good and the service was very quick. The water glasses seemed a little dirty along with the cloth napkins, but overall a good experience!
Friday nights are really busy! Make a reservation! Food was wonderful. Fun to watch the NFL Draft in the car
Good food and nice ambience. First time we’ve eaten in the bar and enjoyed it. Salmon salad was delicious. We will be going back as consistently good food.
The fried green tomatoes are some of the best I've had. The steak was good and well cooked however the salad with house made basalmic vinaigrette dressing and roasted asparagus made the meal.
We dine at Grindstone frequently and have never had a bad meal until last night. Salmon in salad was burned, grilled cheese cold and hard, tomato soup tasted like it was spoiling. Did not complain as we know all restaurants are doing their best. Server Gabriel was excellent. We will still return!
