WHO WE ARE Growing up in Indiana is a privilege. Our love is growing unique restaurants in the Midwest. It’s our roots. It’s in our DNA. It’s tradition. It’s family, and it’s hard work. We come by it naturally though. After all, it started through the generations with our father & grandfather, Carl Fogelsong. A man who initially executed his vision and was eventually named to the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Since 1965 our business remains committed to its roots: love of community, friends and family, and a universa... read more

Grindstone has become one of our favorite places to eat when visiting the Westfield area. It’s for all occasions and we never feel like we have to be dressed up in order to get quality food. It is a must and we’ve never been disappointed in the service!
The Service was timely . My wife loved her Lemon Chicken, however, the prime rib I was served was not as flavorful as expected for prime rib.
Steak -asked rare, came medium. Salat - asked tossed, came untossed. Tomato soup - very sweet, has more green pepper taste than tomato Deed service, good drink selection.
Food was good and like we might have at home. Fried green tomatoes were delicious! Service was OK.
Our server was excellent. Young f Food was just ok. We have eaten at this location in the past and the food has been much better. Prob just an off night.
The patty melt I ordered was not hamburger patty, instead it was a pile of meat. The menu said patty so I expected a hamburger patty, not a chopped up pile.
Overall a great place to eat. My salmon was a little overcooked but everything else was delicious.
The wine was pricey at$14/glass. No beverage menu to select from. The salmon filet was about a 1/2 portion & I got 3 pieces of asparagus, but plenty of mashed potatoes - my friend got the salmon salad & got much more salmon. With tip it was $50 & our server was just average. I rave about your place - guess I’ll stick with lunches there however you nixed them tenderloin sliders. The food was good even if dinky.
Love this place! Food, customer service, ambiance was perfect.
