2nd visit, this time with friends! Had an amazing visit! Stopped in about 3p on Memorial Day, made a reservation in case they got busy. No wait, no delay on service! Food was perfect & we were able to chat while eating!
Service was outstanding, server stoped by our table numerous times As alway food was hot and very good
We went for the Happy Hour menu which offers various sliders, tacos, etc. our server Tad, was excellent, attentive and friendly…. We always enjoy our experience at Grindstone!!!

So glad we made a reservation for dinner, as we were there during the Peony Festival and the place was extremely busy. Even though it was busy, we received great service and attention from our waiter. We were a party of four women, shared a plate of beef nachos, and each ordered a different entree. The steak (ordered well done) was one of the best and most moist steaks I've eaten. Our entrees consisted of steak, pasta, chicken, and pork tenderloin, and all were delicious. My daughter’s chili was barely hot and an open package of crackers were on the side. Mashed potatoes were not hot either that my husband had. Music was good. Not too loud which is nice while having conversations. No mention of the celebration that I put in notes of our reservations. French onion soup was delicious.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at Grindstone. Had the filet slider and au gratin potatoes, both of which were delicious. Definitely a great choice!

Had a nice meal and a relatively quiet atmosphere. Had a newer waiter but he was attentive, cordial and easy to talk with. My t-bone was cooked perfectly and the potatoes au gratin very good. They could have been a little hotter but were still great.

Only complaint was the restaurant is a little too dark..food choices are wonderful and the service was excellent..
