The Groton Dental Group has changed significantly over the past few years as it is now owned by "corporate". With appointment snafus, lingering billing issues for routine cleanings, hygienists and staff quitting, and all longstanding dentists now retired... many of us longtime patients had no choice but to seek dental care elsewhere. I have been attempting to contact Groton Dental Group to reschedule an appointment for two months as I have a filling that fell out. When I went in for my initial appointmnet, they took me 30 minutes late and then proceded to not fix my tooth stating that they "did not have enough time". I had been under the impression that they were going to fix what I made an appointment for. They no longer take Anthem apparently and no one said anything to me. I found out after I questioned my estimate and called Anthem. They said Groton Dental was out of network. Had been going there for a few years and never had this issue. Double check with your insurance company so this doesn’t happen to you.
