I have been attempting to contact Groton Dental Group to reschedule an appointment for two months as I have a filling that fell out. When I went in for my initial appointmnet, they took me 30 minutes late and then proceded to not fix my tooth stating that they "did not have enough time". I had been under the impression that they were going to fix what I made an appointment for. They no longer take Anthem apparently and no one said anything to me. I found out after I questioned my estimate and called Anthem. They said Groton Dental was out of network. Had been going there for a few years and never had this issue. Double check with your insurance company so this doesn’t happen to you.

Appointments consistently run late, appointment times are changed without notification, and when concerns were brought to the manager’s attention, she named excuse after excuse without taking responsibility. When I told her I would be going to another practice, she blamed it on the hygienist and said “I’ll tell her the reason you’re leaving is because she runs late with appointments.” Poor leadership and management of a business.
