I brought a numb left hand into the appointment, and after some EMR work and much close study, Dr. Bernal reached a clear decision that I had severe carpal tunnel syndrome, and sent me on to a hand specialist. Then, I asked him to take a look at some left leg pain I experienced as the result of a near-fall, and after some focused manipulation, Dr. Bernal referred me to a Princeton Brain and Spine orthopedic surgeon, for evaluation of a possible hip replacement. Took the time to talk to me about my situation and even helped me find a brace that was needed for my knee. I felt confident and was not rushed.

This was my first appointment with Dr Bernal for hip pain. He and his staff were friendly and professional. Eric did a good job gathering my information, medications, medical history. Dr Bernal was very thorough with his exam and we jointly developed a treatment plan that included Physical Therapy followed by an MRI of the lower back, if PT does not resolve the issue. Very nice first impression of the practice.
Little to no wait at check in. Dr. Bernal is a very understanding and compassionate Doctor and I found him to be very thorough and my treatment plan works!
How patience Dr Bernal was. He explained the test to me and said it is uncomfortable he was right but I tolerated it. Thank you
Dr. Bernal cares about his patients. He actually listens to any concern and finds the way to make you at ease with any chosen plan treatment. I'm lucky that I was referred to him by my chiropractor! I absolutely recommend Dr. Bernal, even if you are not from this area... worth the trip :)
