When the doctor/ owner Ajay Madaam has more pictures of expensive cars and his expensive taste on his personal Facebook page rather than pictures of animals and him taking care of animals then you know you have the wrong doctor. It’s like going to get a tattoo from a guy who has no tattoos it just doesn’t make sense. I can give you my reasonings behind all this but I think my analogy explains it all .
After about 13 years of coming here we have decided to switch vets. We had an emergency Friday after hours called and ended up at the emergency vet that was on the voicemail. The emergency vet wasn’t great and we had more issues on Saturday. We called for help/guidance and was told by the receptionist that she couldn’t help me because they closed in 10 minutes. Have used this vet in the past very happy. Today I call and explain that my cat is injured. Pat tells me that they are completely booked today but I can drop her off tomorrow maybe for an xray. I said okay she definitely is going to need one hold on. Left me on hold for 20 minutes no exaggeration I hang up call back get her on the phone I said I called about my injured cat you left me on hold yea well we are really busy what do you need? Was told we would be receiving our dog, Shea, records and also our other dog, Molly, in the mail, after having to put our dog Shea, down at another vet. Still waiting after 10 days of not receiving them as Shea was put down on 2/11/18 and Shea's co-owner was obviously blocked on FB from sending a message or writing another review because she doesn't have that functionality anymore but I do. Dr. Tuthill is awesome, Dr. Jay is horrible and is the reason I will never go back. He just wants to drain you for all your money and act like he cares.
I have been a client here for 10+yrs. and until recently would have recommended them. I had a very bad experience involving Dr. Jay and am very upset with the way things were handled. About a month ago I brought my dog to the office for severe scratching, I told the doctor my dog had encountered a coyote that did not look well and that we (my husband and I) thought our dog had mange. I had a very bad experience as well just a few weeks ago except it was the opposite. I have a tYorkie and was there for cleaning/extraction. Dr Jay was my regular vet and it was Dr Tuthill who did the cleaning. When I went to pick up my dog all of the hair was cut off his nose and around his eyes. They admitted to Dr Tuthill cutting the hair around his eyes because he felt he had too much "gunk" around his eyes but denied cutting his hair anywhere else.
