I cannot recommend this office. There are so many issues. I brought in my cats, and the actual visit was fine. The problems started in that they didn't tell us everything that was being done. I was told of 3 blood tests, but not 2 injections. This resulted in 2 charges of 41.26. I tried to speak about this with the receptionist. Her response was literally "Well, you should REALLY know to tell the doctor what you don't want". As if I'm the doctor, and that's why I'm seeing....a doctor?! Where do I begin? I had rescued a kitten on the side of the road of 207, some of you may even know him as clover (who is now Louie). He had a fractured hind leg when I found him and I took him to Hamptonburgh because I and a friend take our animals there for care. When I first arrived with Louie they took him in the back WITHOUT me for examination. my dog was taken for a back wound and at that visit Dr jay stated my dogs liver enzymes were slightly elevated but not too concerned. 2 months later my dogs was lethargic and head pressing took her to the vet they said she may have a brain tumor her liver enzymes were elevated started her on a liver supplement . took a month later she is lethargic can not walk they give her steriods and say she has intervertebral disk disease an I need to crate her for 8 weeks. take her the next day as she has not urinated. they are unable t... read more
