I would definitely recommend Harper Woods Veterinarians. Dr. Dexter has been wonderful with our Epileptic dog Orion. She has been so very patient and understanding as we are learning how to help him through his seizures as they get to be more often. Harper Woods and Dr. Dexter have improved Orion's daily life.
Our Lily had to have a large lump removed. She can’t see and has seizures so it’s a little stressful. I was shocked and pleased when they told me she had a hard time waking up and they took turns sitting with her until she was comfortable. That would have never happened at our previous vet. Thank you Harper Woods veterinarian hospital from Lily and all the Hewitts!!!❤️❤️❤️

Mariah McIntyre (Miss Kitty) and I both highly recommend this location. <3 The front office staff are kind, courteous, and go out of their way to try and get your pet in for care as quickly as possible. The Registered Veterinarian Techs and Assistants are efficient and treat your animals with care. We recently came in after a long hiatus and cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dexter. I think this is one of the best veterinary hospitals around this area! Dr. Balaj runs a tight ship everybody knows their job and things run efficiently. I have been taking my pets here since 1970 and in all that time I have been able to stick with two veterinarians. The first retired after many years and now I've been with Dr. Balaj for just as many years.He is not only knowledgeable, he's caring, and he's understanding most of all knowing the importance of your pet in your life.
