RecommendedWe have just starting to move to them. We had to have a cat put to sleep Monday Dr. Dexter was so caring she let us talk for 15 minutes and treated Petey like he had been a patient for years even though she had never seen him before.
Amazing, caring personal service. Always a comfort to know how well your pet is taken care of. They are handing the Covid curbside with such organization and such great smiles! This is difficult for them, but doing such a great job. Thank you!

I've been going to HWV since I was a child and I'm 56, so that says a lot. This has always been an exceptional team of doctors and technicians. Their compassion when losing your beloved was sincere, and the care and medical expertise of the doctors is commendable. It's truly an "east side" gem. I also appreciate the postcard reminders for my furbabies' maintenance shots, etc. I highly recommend this vet.
Every Dr. at Harper Woods is amazing. They truly care about your pet as if they were their own. From the time when one of the Dr.s brought in their own pup because my ailing boy need a blood transfusion and calling every day to check on him to most recently when one of the Dr.s stayed after their shift was over to take care of my kitty. He even called the next day to check on him because I hadn’t called him yet. I will always recommend them to anyone that asks.
We have taken our dog here since we adopted him almost three years ago. Staff is pleasant, Dr. Bagwell is fantastic and I can't imagine taking our dog anywhere else. I just got back from our first appointment after the start of the pandemic, and as an ER doctor in Detroit, I cannot express how much I appreciate the safety measures taken by the facility to promote social distancing and the safety of both staff members and the families of the pets being brought in for care.
we have been going to Harper Woods vet hospital since my parents moved to east detroit in 1955. each of our dogs as well as our cat were brought there from beginning until the end. nothing but the very best care. compassionate informative caring. from dr Reaume to dr Balaj to dr Rajeski and the others. we have always regarded each as the very best. I recently took my Cane Corso Jarvis there for his annual check up. With the Covid-19 changes, I was wondering exactly how things would go. Jarvis isn't exactly easy to handle, and is not a fan of other dogs, so Im very cautious with him when we're out in public.
