I would highly recommend Hauk Custom Pools. My designer, Tim, really listened to me and created something really cool and unique. My foreman, Sammy, made sure everything was done and actually is completing the project about a week early! And when one of the subcontractors ran over my neighbors sprinkler, the whole team made sure that it was fixed and I had happy neighbors. All in all, great customer service! Thanks Hauk
I would highly recommend Hauk Custom Pools. Our pool was completed in July 2014. Couple of reasons why.. 1. We had our own master landscape design created. This allowed us to shop like for like from various companies and ensure we got the best price and best equipment. Hauk met the mark on all the points. Hauk Custom Pools helped me get my dream pool out in a timely manner in a difficult area to build. The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. Vary professional and easy to work with. From permitting to excavation and putting water in the pool I was communicated thoroughly about what to expect. A big fan of Hauk Custom Pools, they did an outstanding job.. From the custom outdoor kitchen to the perfectly designed pool, the detailed work quality, great design and fantastic customer service has been worth ever penny spent. With Hauk you get what you pay for. Don't settle for cheap, you will end up with broken promises. From start to finish took about 4 months. I would rate the pool construction portion from estimation through pool being ready to go probably around a 4.5. The actual pool construction and production of the pool itself was right on time / on schedule. It is running great and easy to maintain. We chose a chlorinated pool. I think where Hauk has some issues is all the other things around the pool... the other subcontractors actually do good work too and they recommended working with some good people but the management of closing out the work is rough / left up to us. ... read more
We have built pools before, know several pool builders and I've been in the construction industry for 20 years - so we knew what to expect, what the labor and material challenges would be and what we were looking for - most importantly we wanted someone who could execute a "modern" style pool design. Have to admit it’s disappointing to write such a negative review after such a great construction project. The design and build was awesome and for the first few years everything was great. About a few after constructions was completed there was discoloration to the plaster in the pool and the owner of the company assured us that the manufacturer of the plaster would take care of it. We even had them scheduled at one point to come fix this, but then received a confusing letter saying that they had dissolved the relationship w... read more
In June 2017 Hauk was hired to construct a pool at my home in Little Elm for in excess of $100,000. They were provided with geotechnical data from 2 soil borings from the lot. They employed an engineer (Blake Wilson) who designed the shell structure and foundation involving 16 drilled piers. On numerous occasions during construction I had to intervene and basically double-check their project management for such issues as: Incorrect steel installed for the shell structure.
